OIL WELL PACKER COMPONENTS

1. Flow Mandrel
It is a means or conduit inside that keeps all sections of the shutter as a single system (units of seals, cones, wedges, blocks and friction), thereby connecting the flow that comes from training with tubing and continues its journey to the flow station.

It is the skeleton of the packer or packer. Are superimposed in all devices, but none is screwed into it. Its upper end is screwed to the inside of the head of the Packer and at its lower end is attached to pin Jack.

Allows for an annular space between the outer surface and the inside of the other devices, also has flow channels which are flats located on its surface. The above allows the flow of pressurized liquid fluid so that activate devices whose operation depends on the pressure exerted by the fluids.

2. Cone
These devices transmit pipeline movements either compression or tension wedges to expand and anchor the casing.

3. Wedges
They are metal-coated steel, high strength material (tungsten) and which are the packer to anchor the casing for preventing movement thereof.

4. Sealing Elements
Systems are essential to achieve hydraulic isolation. They are either made by a piece or more to three rings of elastomers, nitrile constructed and can be made of different hardnesses according to pressure and temperature ranges where they are to use.

When a packer is built, the sealing element is compressed to form a seal against the casing. During compression, the rubber element is expanded between the packer body and the wall of the casing

5. Friction Devices
These are an essential part of many types of packers to seat and in some cases to recover them. They can be: strips in spring or friction blocks and each of these provides the necessary support forces to seat the packer.

6. Portablocks
The device responsible for ensuring the work load packer or packer. The drive blocks are tightened to the casing, thanks to the springs located properly, which allows you to stay still during the loading and unloading of the tool. Its inner part is designed in such a way that allows a housing for the J pin preventing unwanted cargo packer.

7. Portamordazas
The device that hosts and allows the removal and return of the gripping jaws of the packer or packer during the loading and unloading.

The gripping jaws have tablets which are coated with tungsten carbide and are those that cling tightly to the casing. The pickups are positioned in such a way that allows packerhacia move up, not down hac ia. It has holes that communicate with the inner ring of the packer, this allows the flow and pressure transmission through this – Activation of pistons

8. Rubber holder
It’s a shirt that allows free placement of the gums. The tires used are elastomers of different hardnesses, whose selection will depend on the depth and temperature conditions of the area to locate the packer into the well. Calibrators has rings that protect the rubber friction with the casing. The lower gauge ring has wires inside that allow the union to union shirt. There is light between the inside of the mandrel and the packer, allowing the inner flow and pressure transmission during the work of fracture.

9. Piston holder
A device that houses the pistons or hold downs that once activated, makes the packer in a double grip tool.

The pistons are clamped in the packer is activated once the flow of pressurized liquid fluid. Cling tightly to the casing due to the positioning of a set of pads placed on its surface, preventing the packer to move up. The bottom of the body allows the junction with the upper gauge ring rubber shirt and rubber holder.

10. Hosting Balancer Shirt
This device allows free travel of the sleeve balancer once the system is pressurized. La Camisa balancer can sustain the pressure from below regardless of the weight of the pipe. This is located the seat for the valve seal pressure equalizing loading which closes and opens the Packer stressing the pipe.

11. Pressure equalizing valve
It’s the type telescope. Open, ensures the equalization of pressure from the packer and the annulus. It consists of 2 components: the Porta Seal and the seal seat.

This valve is closed once loaded Packer, as the seal holder moves together with the pipe. Closed valve tightness is generated within the packer, which ensures the functioning of the piston and sleeve balancer.

12. Head packer
To join the pack with the line moves to transmit the movement of the pipe (up, down, turn) to devices whose function depends on these movements (chuck, pin jack, equalizer valve). In the inner part of the mandrel is threaded Packer, in addition to the nut holder seal.

  1. My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .

net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses.
But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type
on various websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another
platform. I have heard excellent things about blogengine.
net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it?
Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!
