Meter purchase (Buy-back Meter)
Equipment used to measure the amount of gas used during gas lift operations. The gas flowing from the well comes from two sources: natural gas produced from the well, and the gas that is used to help boost other well fluids.
Online collection (Gathering Line)
A pipeline that transports gas from the wellhead to a compressor station and then to the market to be sold, which will soon be delivered to power plants, homes and businesses.
Remote Terminal Unit
Known as RTU (Remote Terminal Unit), this device gathers production data including flow rates, daily volumes, line pressure, casing pressure, tubing lpresión and meter readings. The well can be remotely monitored and closed if necessary.
Meter Sales (Sales meter)
The sales meter measures the volume of gas flowing from the well. Meter is an assignment and determines how much gas is actually sold in the tie-in to an outside line. The second critical function is to keep track of how the well is flowing. This continuous record is reviewed in conjunction with pressure, water production and other factors to determine if the well is flowing at optimal levels.
Gas separator
The separator removes the largest amount of water produced from the gas by gravity. Water is heavier than gas, falls to the bottom of the chamber while the gas rises and exits through the top. The water is automatically extracted from the separator into a battery through an automatic valve.
The solar panel
This panel collects solar energy to power the remote terminal unit, which can also work with other types of energy.
