NATURAL GASOLINE

Natural gasoline or petrol light is obtained by separating the natural gas componenntes dry gas (methane + ethane), LPG (propane + butane) and condensate heavy.

Composition varies according to the original gas and pressure used in the separation process.

Its small boiling range (C5-C10) and their tendency to vaporize easily do an excellent motor fuel for cold weather.

The natural gas has an octane number greater than normal gasoline distillation by the high content of butane.

The natural gas composition affects its vapor pressure by the large difference between the vapor pressures of the components of low boiling point. The vapor pressure of propane is very high and therefore a small amount will greatly increase the total vapor pressure.
