DRILLING COUNTERPRESSURE

Managed-Pressure Drilling (MPD) is a drilling technology that challenges traditional practices using a drilling mud weight system.

MPD includes drilling through a system of closed loop control mistreated annular pressure profile by increasing or decreasing the pressure back on the surface.

Drilling counterpressure

This technique solves many problems of traditional drilling and drilling risk.

Some of these include:

1. Better hole cleaning.
2. Maintains a constant pressure of the well.
3. Allows pressure which upwelling and distributed out of the wellbore in a safe manner.
4. Clean the drilling fluid to help increase the ROP and downtime with BHA.
5. Prevents loss of circulation.
